We are delighted to host this tasting masterclass in partnership with Bobby's Gin. A Dutch gin features a recipe inspired by the creator's grandfather, Bobby Alfons. It's made with a combination of local and exotic ingredients, including juniper, clove, lemongrass, cubeb peppers and rosehips. Guests will learn about the history of gin and the production of Bobby's Gin and jenever.
Tickets include the tasting, a welcome drink along with a specially paired taster canapé from our kitchen.
The session begins promptly at 7pm, please arrive 15 minutes before for your welcome drink. We also invite guests to staying longer for dinner, drinks & live music.
From 9pm, James cut his teeth as a pianist, bandleader and arranger as a student in Edinburgh before moving to east London in 2006. His idiosyncratic, New Orleans-inflected piano and vocal style incorporates elements of James Booker, Fats Waller, Charles Brown and Amos Milburn. James can regularly be found playing gigs around the city with his band, JB's Casual Vices, as well as playing occasional solo sessions.
