The Jazzberries play vintage swing, well-known jazz favourites, and foot-tapping Post-Modern Jukebox jazz versions of modern pop songs. Formed in 1997 they are one of London’s top bands, and played the inaugural show when Nightjar launched in 2011, as well as opening Sir Elton John’s celebrity White Tie & Tiara Ball (Sting & Elton were on next as a duo). The band have toured the UK & Europe & performed in festivals as far afield as New Zealand. Tonight’s line-up features brilliant young Italian vocalist Anna Incontro, and jazz guitarist Luca Boscagin, all underpinned by bandleader Jonny Gee on double bass.
